Neil LaBute NEIL LaBUTE (Playwright) received his Master of Fine Arts degree in dramatic writing from New York University and was the recipient of a literary fellowship to study at the Royal Court Theatre. Films include: In the Company of Men (New York Critics' Circle Award for Best First Feature, Filmmakers' Trophy at the Sundance Film Festival), Your Friends and Neighbors, Nurse Betty, Possession, and The Shape of Things, a film adaptation of his play by the same title. His latest film, The Wicker Man, will be released in the coming year. Plays include: bash: latter-day plays, which LaBute wrote for New York in 1999 and London in 2000, both directed by Joe Mantello; The Shape of Things which LaBute wrote and directed for London and New York in 2001; The Distance From Here, written by LaBute, which ran at the Almeida Theater in London in spring 2002 (directed by David Leveaux) and in New York at MCC in spring 2004 (directed by Michael Greif); and The Mercy Seat, written and directed by LaBute in New York at MCC in fall 2002. In spring 2004, MCC Theater performed five of his one-act plays, collectively titled Autobahn. MCC staged LaBute's play Fat Pig, directed by Jo Bonney, in fall of 2004. Last March, his play This Is How It Goes premiered at New York's Public Theater and was directed by George C. Wolfe. In May that same year, This is How It Goes debuted at The Donmar Warehouse in London, directed by Moises Kaufman; his play Some Girl(s) premiered on London's West End the same month, directed by David Grindley. A new play, Wrecks, premiered in November of last year at the Everyman Palace Theater in Cork, Ireland, directed by the author. It will receive its US premiere at the Public Theatre this fall. LaBute's adaptation of Georg Büchner's Woyzeck opens at the Zurich Festival in July. He is also the author of the short-story collection Seconds of Pleasure.

Bonney is the recipient of a 1998 Obie Award for Sustained Excellence of Direction and the editor of Extreme Exposure: An Anthology of Solo Performance Texts from the Twentieth Century (TCG).

Eric McCormack ERIC McCORMACK (Guy, a NYC writer). Eric made his Broadway debut in 2001, starring as Harold Hill in Susan Stroman's acclaimed production of The Music Man, returning the following year to guest star in The Play What I Wrote, directed by Kenneth Branagh. He spent five seasons with Canada's renowned Stratford Shakespearean Festival, and has appeared in theatres across his native Canada, starring in Dracula, Biloxi Blues, Burn This, Henry IV, and many others. Feature films include Holy Man, Here's To Life, the cult hit Free Enterprise, and the just-released independent film The Sisters, for which he received Best Actor at Atlanta's 2005 Dixie Film Festival. On television, he appeared in dozens of movies and series, including a two year stint as Col. Clay Mosby on the popular syndicated series "Lonesome Dove: The Outlaw Years," but he just completed his longest-lasting role: as Will Truman in NBC's Emmy-winning comedy "Will & Grace." In eight successful seasons, Eric was nominated for five Golden Globes and four Emmys, winning the Emmy as Lead Actor in a Comedy in 2001. He has also hosted the "VH1 Music Awards," the "Critics' Choice Awards" and "Saturday Night Live." Eric recently formed Big Cattle Prods., and is the executive producer of the new Lifetime comedy "Lovespring."

Brooke Smith BROOKE SMITH (Sam, a Seattle housewife) was last seen in The Coen Brothers' Sawbones at The Theater of The New Ear in New York and London. Other theater: The Exonerated, Stop Kiss (directed by Jo Bonney), The Users Waltz, Little Monsters, Andre Gregory's Uncle Vanya, The EST Marathon, NY Shakespeare Festival, Naked Angels and The 24 Hour Plays (written by Neil LaBute). Brooke is currently rehearsing The Master Builder with Andre Gregory and Wallace Shawn, which they will be filming in the fall. Film: In Her Shoes, Melinda and Melinda, Iron Jawed Angels, Series 7, The Silence of the Lambs, Vanya on 42nd Street, Bad Company, Kansas City, Random Hearts, Last Summer in the Hamptons, The Night We Never Met, Mr. Wonderful, The Moderns. Upcoming: Mira Nair's The Namesake. TV: "Grey's Anatomy," "Heist," "Six Feet Under," "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," "100 Centre Street," "Big Apple," "Homicide: Life on the Street," "The Larry Sanders Show," "Law & Order." Brooke directed the short film Sheeps Meadow and two documentaries: one about a Chicago bluesman and the other about wildlife conservation in Zimbabwe.

Judy Reyes JUDY REYES (Tyler, a Chicago artist) stars as the sassy, no-nonsense nurse Carla Espinosa on NBC's comedy "SCRUBS." For this role, Reyes received a 2006 NCLR ALMA Award Nomination ("Outstanding Lead Actress in a TV Series"), honoring Latino artistic achievement in television, film and music. Currently in its fifth season, "SCRUBS" received a 2005 Emmy nomination for "Best Comedy Series." In 1992, Reyes appeared in the independent feature Jack and His Friends opposite Sam Rockwell, and went on to perform extensively in the New York theater. She is a founding member of New York's acclaimed LAByrinth Theatre Company, serving as both actor and producer on numerous productions. Reyes' other film credits include Dirty opposite Cuba Gooding, Jr., Martin Scorcese's Bringing Out the Dead with Nicolas Cage, Went to Coney Island on a Mission from God, Be Back at Five and Washington Heights. Additionally, Reyes starred in and produced the independent film Glow Ropes: The Rise and Fall of a Bar Mitzvah Emcee. Glow Ropes screened and won the "Best Film" award at the 2005 HBO New York Latino Film Festival. She also acted in and co-produced three short films: Taino (with her husband) which was one of four finalists to air on the 1999 Showtime Latino Filmmakers Forum; Moment to Moment which was the 2003 winner at the Showtime Latino Filmmakers Forum; and La Cosa Piu Bella del Mondo. Reyes' other television credits include a star turn opposite Doris Roberts in the 2006 Hallmark Original Movie "Our House" and a recurring role as Tina on HBO's "Oz."

Fran Drescher FRAN DRESCHER (Lindsay, a Boston professor) made her return to series television last season on the WB's "Living With Fran." She also serves as an executive producer on the series. Drescher received two Emmy and two Golden Globe nominations for her portrayal as the lovable Miss Fine on the hit series "The Nanny," a show she also created, wrote, directed and executive produced. Drescher made her stage debut in The Pasadena Playhouse world premiere of Ronald Ribman's Rug Merchants of Chaos. In July 2003, she made her New York stage debut in Jessica Blank and Erik Jensen's critically-acclaimed off-Broadway drama The Exonerated. An accomplished film actress, Drescher won Esquire magazine's "Five Minute Oscar" for her memorable performance in the mockumentary This is Spinal Tap. She is most proud of her starring role opposite Timothy Dalton in Beautician and The Beast, a film she executive produced as well. Drescher is also a successful author. Her first book Enter Whining, was a New York Times bestseller. She has received the prestigious NCCS Writer's Award for her most recent book, Cancer Schmancer, also a New York Times best-seller. Drescher, a uterine cancer survivor, has turned pain into purpose by becoming an outspoken healthcare advocate on Capitol Hill. As a result of her health advocacy, she is the recipient of the John Wayne Institute Woman of Achievement Award, the Gilda Award, the City of Hope Woman of the Year Award, the Hebrew University Humanitarian Award and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine's Spirit of Achievement Award, among many others.

Maura Tierney MAURA TIERNEY (Bobbi, a Los Angeles doctor) is currently gracing television screens every week as Nurse Abby Lockhart on the top rated NBC series "ER" for which she received her first Emmy nomination. She will next be seen in a film for Magnolia Pictures called Diggers, where she stars opposite Paul Rudd, Ken Marino, Josh Hamilton, Ron Eldard, Lauren Ambrose and Sarah Paulson. The film is directed by Katherine Dieckmann and is about two generations of clam diggers trying to maintain their way of life in the midst of enormous changes in the Hamptons during the 1970's. Tierney has also starred in such films as Twentieth Century Fox's comedy Welcome to Mooseport opposite Ray Romano and Gene Hackman, Instinct opposite Sir Anthony Hopkins and Cuba Gooding Jr. and Dreamworks' hugely successful Forces of Nature with Ben Affleck and Sandra Bullock. Additional film credits include, Primal Fear, The Temp, White Sands, Oxygen and Scotland PA. She earned critical praise for her role in Primary Colors as well as for her work opposite Jim Carrey in the smash hit Liar Liar. Tierney also appeared in the Christopher Nolan directed film Insomnia opposite Al Pacino, Hilary Swank and Robin Williams. Prior to joining the cast of "ER", Tierney spent four years on the critically acclaimed NBC series "NEWSRADIO." Tierney attended New York University and Circle-in-the-Square Theatre School.
