MCC Theater held its annual gala benefit, MISCAST, on Monday, March 10, 2008, featuring Broadway's biggest stars performing songs from roles in which they would never be cast!

Nearly 400 guests and sponsors gathered at the Hammerstein Ballroom for an evening of cocktails, dinner, live and silent auctions, and the one-of-a-kind revue at the heart of the event. 

MISCAST '08 also included the presentation of the MCC Theater Award to Jeffrey Richards and Jerry Frankel, producers of this season's August: Osage County, The Homecoming and November.

Among this year’s highlights were Patrick Wilson performing a rousing rendition of “Let Me Entertain You” from Gypsy, Jesse L. Martin putting a new spin on “You’ll Never Walk Alone” from Carousel, Brian D’Arcy James, Kelli O’Hara and Steven Pasquale bringing down the house with “Totally F----d” from Spring Awakening, and knock-out performances from Cheyenne Jackson, Leslie Kritzer, Faith Prince, and Carol Woods.
