Ticket sales cover less than 50% of our operating expenses. Contributions from individual donors provide vital support for our mainstage productions, literary development and education and outreach programs. Whether big or small, every gift helps. Since its founding in 1986 as Manhattan Class Company, MCC Theater has become a leader among Off-Broadway not-for-profit theaters with its celebrated history of developing and producing challenging, engrossing new work. In addition, MCC Theater nurtures the development of emerging writers through its highly-regarded literary programs and provides arts education to students through a variety of initiatives including the MCC Theater Youth Company.
